The 3rd BEFF Babul ECO Festival was held on 1-3 June 2019 at the historical Sarathi Studios, Ameerpet, Hyderabad. A total of 50 films from 15 countries were screened. A Short Film Contest on the topic Air Pollution was conducted and the winner was given away prize. Noted Environmentalist Prof Purushottam Reddy inaugurated the festival by Vriksharopan giving water to plant. Senior Telugu film Director Sri Siva Nageswara Rao released the Festival Catalogue and Director of Sarathi Studios Sri K V Rao launched Delegate Kit. The closing ceremony was graced by Telugu Film Director Sri V N Aditya. Filmmakers interacted with the audience via video conference to introduce their films and to take questions post-screening.

I volunteered for 3rd BEFF. I learned many things and it was also fun being part of the team. It is a wonderful chance to network with like minded from India and abroad. I recommend students who are interested in Cinema and/or Nature to volunteer and take advantage of this great opportunity
